Importance of Writing Skills:

  Writing is one of the most important skills that is being taught in academic institutions in order to prepare students not only for the examination and tests of various sorts and levels but also for the life tasks, where ever in the world you would apply for the job definitely you will be asked for the writing skills you have. In a company, educational institutions or any other job you seek for, demands  writing skills whether it comes to report writing, evaluations, presentations  journalism, public speaking, politics, scholarly, thinkers or simply applying for the visa for further studies or overseas employment opportunities.  

Major Forms of Writing:

 Creative writing is a genre of education which deals with varied sort of tasks, it is basically considered the ability to express or present something keeping within the frame work and following the format of each portion accurately. The literary writings are mostly based upon the imagination or descriptions so a good reading of other works of the same genre would enhance the related vocabulary and the ideas about the topics in hand to work on. As far as, though these are the tasks radically not made up out of the creativity and are not considered creative writings business presentations are concerned, these are the hard core facts and do not require imagination or vast situational vocabulary or ideas. Thus based upon the information written above we can clearly divide the writings into two major forms i.e. 

1. Fictional   2.Factual

Fictional Writings: (Creative Writing)

The literary work or the imaginative writings are based upon the imagination and not the true facts so are known as fiction. Narrative writing [Stories], poetry, novels and Descriptive writing [Describing something to create visuals or images]

Factual Writings:

The writings that are based upon the facts or reality are factual writings the best examples of these are essays, academic, scientific papers, research papers, news reports, business reports, editorials, journals etc. 

Whether fiction or factual writing, a vast knowledge and information and vocabulary is the key to it, a better hand on the language skills in order to produce a remarkable piece is essential as the grammar checking and correcting apps only can help if you have already produced, nevertheless, it is always important that the writer is proficiently a learned person with the ability to use a standard language to write a formal document.
